If you want to bring it back again, go to the Dropbox preferences on Mac or Windows and change it back to Always show. Once you choose Never show or If others present and close the window, the Dropbox badge should disappear. In the Preferences window, click on Change AutoPlay Settings. Otherwise, you can leave it at the default of Always show. Disable the Dropbox Camera Auto Upload Prompt Right-click the Dropbox icon from your System Tray and select Preferences. Close all other applications on your computer, restart your computer, and see if that fixes the problem. If you only want it to show when you are collaborating with someone on that document, choose If others present. If you want to disable it entirely, choose Never show. It will open up the Dropbox preferences pane, and you’ll see there is a Dropbox badge dropdown. Down at the bottom is a Preferences link.
Click on the badge and you will see the “Meet The Dropbox badge” window. If you don’t know what I am talking about, open an Office document that is stored in a Dropbox folder.
